Complete Blood Count (CBC): A complete blood count test is important as it can reveal a lot about your overall health. It can tell if your body is fighting an infection or if you are anemic and can even hint at leukemia.
Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR): ESR levels are higher when our immune system is fighting an active infection. ESR above 100mm/h can also indicate an underlying health issue such as blood disease, kidney disease, diabetes and even heart disease.
Urine Routine and Microscopy: A urine test can reveal UTI infections as well as onset of chronic illnesses. The final component of a urinalysis examines a small amount of concentrated urine under a microscope. It aims to detect higher than normal levels of red blood cells, white blood cells, bacteria, and crystals. Thus, urine tests can reveal kidney stones, liver or bile duct damage, if you are prediabetic.
Uric Acid: Uric acid is a normal waste product that our bodies make when it breaks down chemicals called purines. High levels of uric acid can be a sign of kidney stones.
Stool Complete: Stool checks can reveal gastrointestinal problems and can even help in detecting bowel cancer.
Random Blood Sugar: Diabetes has become a common lifestyle-based disease in our country and a lot of times lack of regular check-ups are the reason that it goes undetected in individuals for a long time. Lot of people find it difficult to do the fasting and post prandial blood glucose test as it requires you to test your glucose levels on an empty stomach. But random blood sugar tests can be done at any hour of the day and can reveal if you are diabetic or not.
Creatinine: Chronic kidney ailment is on the rise in India, it can be caused due to various reasons. This is the reason we have included creatinine tests in our basic health package.
SGPT: SGPT is a quick test measured through a blood sample to ensure the proper functioning of your liver. The presence of high levels of SGPT enzymes are a warning sign of liver dysfunction and can be a symptom of liver disorders such as hepatitis and jaundice.
ECG: Looking at your heart rate and how much electrical activity is passing through the muscles of your heart, allows doctors to detect abnormalities in your heart’s structure and its rhythm.
X-ray Chest PA View: A chest X-ray is useful for showing the size and shape of the heart and detecting chest disorders.
